McDonald’s is expected to give color on new sales-driving initiatives at its investor day event Monday. Visibility on sales and earnings might be a bit hazy, so investors will be parsing the comments for hints on what results will look like in the year ahead.
Telsey Advisory Group analyst Bob Derrington wrote in a note that the new sandwich is aimed at competing with Chick-fil-A’s offerings. He also expects McDonald’s to introduce a fresh loyalty rewards program “to stimulate trial and repeat sales.”.
